From Don of Don & Ginger's Adventures in Live Music:
Operation Gratitude is an Organization I have some history with.
I received one of their Huge Boxes of Gratitude at the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War held at Fort Irwin in California.
As a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran, Ginger and I didn't want to miss this event.
Plus it was another chance to see Gary Sinise's "Lt. Dan Band".
If you have not been to one of their shows, do not miss one in the future.
When we got home, I dug into the Huge Box given to us by Operation Gratitude's many volunteers.
They had a mountain of boxes stacked to the sky.
This box was loaded with amazing gifts, from "T" Shirts, Grooming Supplies, and all kinds of snacks.
As I recall, they even had letters of Gratitude from kids. Very Heart-warming.
Now we get the chance to say Thank You to this impressive Organization.
Ginger and I met Operation Gratitudes Ambassador at a "Jack Mack and the Heart Attacks" show at the Write-Off Room in Studio City.
As I have mentioned in several of our Music Articles, a big part of our Adventures in Live Music is the amazing people we meet at the show.
Ginger and I now get to help Promote this Super Group of Volunteers.
Count us in!!!
